Made in America...since 1969

In 1969, the world was looking up — all eyes on the moon. But back here on Earth, in a small corner of New York, two entrepreneurs were busy building something of their own kind of American dream.

That’s when Gene Eichner and Gordon Van Vechten founded Framerica — a company built not just to make picture frame mouldings, but to make them better. Their goal was simple: combine craftsmanship, innovation, and good old-fashioned work ethic to create products that look great, last long, and are proudly made in the USA.

More than fifty years later, that same spirit still drives everything we do.

Built Here. Built Right.

From day one, Framerica has believed that making things in America matters. It’s not just about geography — it’s about values. Quality. Accountability. Pride.

Our mouldings don’t cross oceans before reaching customers. They’re made right here by skilled American hands — shaped, wrapped, and inspected in our New York facility, where precision meets purpose every single day.

The result? Shorter lead times. Consistent quality. Products that perform beautifully, because they’re made by people who care deeply about what they do.

The Power of People

Machines may move fast, but our people move Framerica forward. Generations of makers, technicians, and engineers have honed their craft within these walls. Many have been with us for decades — perfecting the art of extrusion, mastering the profile wrap, and checking every detail before it leaves the floor.
They’re not just employees — they’re the heartbeat of the company. Every frame, trim, and transition that bears the Framerica name carries their expertise and pride.

Innovation, Wrapped in Tradition

While our roots are deep in the picture framing world, our reach has grown far beyond it. Over the years, we’ve expanded into architectural mouldings, flooring transitions, cabinetry components, and more — applying our same wrapping technology and precision craftsmanship to every surface we touch.
But no matter how much we innovate, we never forget where we started — with two founders, a dream, and a belief that American manufacturing can compete with anyone, anywhere.

The Next Generation of “Made in America”

Today, second-generation leadership — Jason Van Vechten and Josh Eichner — carry that legacy forward. Jason drives continuous improvement through lean manufacturing and Six Sigma efficiency, while Josh focuses on growth, relationships, and the customer-first values that built our name.
Together, they’re leading Framerica into the future — expanding capabilities, modernizing operations, and proving that American-made still means something.

Proudly American. Always.

For us, “Made in America” isn’t a tagline — it’s a promise. It means we’re accountable for every inch of moulding that leaves our factory. It means the people who make our products live in the same communities where those products hang on walls.

It means craftsmanship you can trust, consistency you can count on, and a story worth framing.
Because when you’ve been Made in America since 1969, you don’t just make mouldings —
you make history, one lineal foot at a time.
